HYDROLIGHT LOUNGE BRINGS HOLISTIC WELLNESS WITH A TWIST
PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Florida (October 18, 2024) – HydroLight Lounge, a modern sanctuary for holistic health, is now officially open in the heart of Ponte Vedra’s Nocatee community. Founded by Shannon Engel, a mother of two and former advertising executive specializing in spirits and nightlife, the wellness lounge aims to revolutionize wellness by blending relaxation, rejuvenation, and a spirited twist on traditional self-care experiences.
HydroLight Lounge offers innovative services designed to detoxify, heal, and refresh both body and mind. The menu, cleverly named after classic cocktails, includes unique offerings like cold plunge therapy, colon hydrotherapy, infrared sauna sessions, red light therapy, and contrast therapy. But HydroLight Lounge isn’t just about wellness—it’s about having a good time, too.
“Our goal is to create a space where people can truly relax and recharge, but in a way that’s fun and approachable,” said Shannon Engel, founder of HydroLight Lounge. “HydroLight Lounge is where holistic health meets happy hour. We’ve infused every detail—from the services menu to the design elements—with a sense of playfulness. My hope is that, just like meeting friends for drinks or brunch, we can encourage people to add self-care into their weekly routines.”
Reflecting Engel’s creative background, the lounge features music lyrics etched on mirrors throughout the space. Where wellness spaces are typically quiet, HydroLight Lounge offers personal entertainment devices in each room, allowing visitors to enjoy their favorite shows or albums.
The HydroLight Lounge Menu Includes:
· ON THE ROCKS: Cold Plunge Therapy, designed to boost circulation, reduce inflammation, and invigorate the body.
· THE SPRITZ: Colon Hydrotherapy, a gentle, effective way to detoxify and cleanse the digestive system.
· THE NEGRONI: Red Light Therapy, known for enhancing skin health, reducing inflammation, and accelerating healing.
· THE COSMOPOLITAN: Light Therapy, a way to reduce the circumference of hips, waist and thighs along with improving skin texture and helping with pain relief
· THE HOT TODDY: Infrared Sauna, using infrared light to promote detoxification, relaxation, and muscle recovery.
· THE DRY MARTINI: Contrast Therapy, alternating hot and cold treatments to enhance recovery, reduce pain, and boost overall wellness.
To celebrate the opening, HydroLight Lounge is running an ‘Open Bar’ introductory offer to try all core services for only $99 through the end of October.
“Ponte Vedra values health and well-being, and we’re excited to bring something fresh to the area,” Engel added. “Growing up with a nutritionist mom, I learned the importance of being thoughtful about what we put into our bodies and am trying to pass that on to my two boys. After nearly twenty years of non-stop work, I wanted to create a space that celebrates self-care with a touch of nightlife fun. HydroLight Lounge isn’t a spa—it’s a lounge that just happens to offer wellness instead of spirits.”
