Moonlight Market 2024

CELEBRATE INDIE ART + DESIGN AT THE MOONLIGHT MARKET ON NOVEMBER 16TH

ST. AUGUSTINE, Florida (October 16, 2024) – Mark your calendars because Uptown St. Augustine’s most magical night is returning. The Moonlight Market, presented by Jenna Alexander Studio and Sunday Gathering Table, will be held from 5-9pm on Saturday, November 16th, at 73 San Marco Avenue. This free evening market celebrates local creatives by bringing together artists and art lovers to peruse and purchase unique artisan items, including handmade goods, art, ceramics, and vintage. DJ Zach Engh spins mood music, while Sunday serves up fresh burgers with vegetable jardiniere. A market highlight is the release of Jenna Alexander’s third annual St. Augustine holiday illustration.

“I love capturing our sweet town in a whimsical illustration,” says Jenna Alexander of Jenna Alexander Studio. “This year’s artwork highlights St. Augustine’s hallmarks – bricked paths, historic church architecture, the Bridge of Lions, and the twinkling holiday lights. A super fun way to enjoy this year’s artwork is with a custom 500-piece puzzle! The illustration will also come as an 8 x 10 and 11 x 14 print and a 5 x 7 postcard. As a special treat, I busted out my puzzles from 2022 and 2023 and added this year’s to create a limited Christmas bundle.”

The Moonlight Market will feature almost 30 local vendors, including some new, first-time artisans. The SoulShine Co. out of Orlando offers cheery prints, stickers, cards, totes, and more. Kelly Evans creates utterly original ceramics from her College Park space, Invisible Twin Studio. St. Augustine’s own RIG ReInvented Goods makes durable and classy bags using recycled materials in an array of styles and prints. Jon and Jess of grumpshine candles pour imaginative candles using sustainable materials and healthful intent. Vendors are curated and selected by a jury of creative directors. “In addition to creating a spread to enjoy during the market, we’ll be offering some of our scrumptious staples to take home,” reveals Misty Lake, owner of Sunday. “No true Southern larder is complete without loaves of sourdough bread, fresh preserves, and tangy pickles.” Photos to accompany the press release can be found here.
