Providence Homes Wins Prestigious Award

PROVIDENCE HOMES EARNS U.S. ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY’S 2024 INDOOR AIRPLUS LEADER AWARD

JACKSONVILLE, Florida (September 24, 2024) – Providence Homes wins the 2024 U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) - Indoor AirPlus® Leader Award for the third year in a row. This annual award recognizes market leading organizations who promote safer, healthier, and more comfortable indoor environments by participating with Indoor AirPlus, and offering enhanced indoor air quality protections for their new homebuyers. Indoor AirPlus is a voluntary partnership and labeling program that helps new home builders improve Indoor Air Quality by requiring construction practices and product specifications that minimize exposure to airborne pollutants and contaminants. Clean air is good for everyone’s health, but it can be especially important to those who have chronic respiratory conditions.

“We’re honored to be recognized as leaders in the housing industry building healthier, more resilient homes,” says Sean Junker, President and COO of Providence Homes. “Our company is committed to advancing indoor air quality and providing safe and comfortable living environments for all our customers.” Providence Homes was the only Regional/Divisional Builder winner from Florida.

“We are proud to recognize the Indoor AirPlus partners who go above and beyond to build and certify healthier homes. Indoor AirPlus homes achieve their high-performance indoor air quality certification by ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment. Congratulations to all 2024 Indoor AirPlus Leader Award winners and thank you for helping Americans Breath Easier,” said David Rowson, Director of the EPA’s Indoor Environments Division. “This award serves to celebrate the exceptional commitment and inspiring leadership of our Indoor AirPlus partners in creating healthy homes. A heartfelt thank you to the 2024 Indoor AirPlus Leader Award winners for their dedication to advancing indoor air quality and creating more resilient homes.”
