Edible Northeast Florida Seeks New Publisher to Continue Beloved Publication
ST. AUGUSTINE, Florida (March 11, 2025) – Since 2015, Edible Northeast Florida has been a foundational resource for those who want to explore food on a deeper level. The team behind the publication is passionate about collaborating with and amplifying the work of farmers, the hospitality industry, and food and drink artisans throughout the region. As the magazine approaches its tenth anniversary, Michelle Smith, publisher and partner of Edible Northeast Florida and Lauren Titus, editor-in-chief and partner, are looking for a new voice and new owners to continue the journey.
“Edible is a love letter to the food and drink community,” says Smith. “It’s more than a magazine. It’s a direct line from the producers to the people who enjoy their labor of love.”
From discussions on culinary trends to innovations in food production, tested recipes to gardening tips, Edible Northeast Florida’s mission is to provide content that engages readers while building community through the story of local food. Smith hopes to find a new publisher dedicated to supporting and celebrating the regional food system.
Titus, editor since the launch of the magazine, oversees production of the publication along with a weekly digital newsletter. “Our readers won’t have to worry – we’ll continue providing the same quality magazine while we search for and transition to a new publisher, one who will continue our legacy of showcasing our local food champions. For the right person, the potential is limitless.”
Edible Northeast Florida is a part of Edible Communities®, the largest media organization devoted to telling local stories and sustaining the efforts of farmers, chefs, food artisans, fishers, vintners, and home cooks. Its network comprises 75+ independently-owned regional magazines across the U.S. and Canada.
