Know Before You Go to the St. Augustine Celtic Festival March 8-9

ST. AUGUSTINE, Florida (February 20, 2025) – The swirling skirls of bagpipes are ready to fill the air as the St. Augustine Celtic Music & Heritage Festival returns on March 8th and March 9th. The festival is North Florida’s premier celebration of everything Celtic and offers music, athletics, and cultural activities. The St. Augustine Celtic Music & Heritage Festival will be held at Francis Field, 25 West Castillo Drive in downtown St. Augustine.

 

The Festival kicks off with the Whiskey Tasting event on Friday, March 7th at 6:30 p.m. The St. Augustine St. Patrick Parade begins Saturday at 10 a.m. and concludes at the Festival grounds with a Bagpipe Jam, followed by the Parade awards. Festival gates open at 10 a.m. both days, and close on Saturday, March 8th at 10 p.m., and Sunday, March 9th at 7 p.m. The Highland Games also begin at 10 a.m. on both days. Performances on the Main and Second Stages start at 12 p.m. Saturday and 11:30 a.m. on the Main Stage on Sunday. Musical performers include Albannach, Clover’s Revenge, Jamison, Mudmen, Screaming Orphans, Seven Nations, and Syr. For a full performance schedule, visit here.

 

General Admission tickets are still available online, will be available at the gate, and do not sell out. GA tickets are good for one day and are $25. Children 12 and under, active duty, and retired military personnel are free. VIP All-Weekend tickets are $120, available while supplies last, and usually sell out before the festival. Tickets may be purchased online here, in person at Ann O’Malley’s Irish Pub, and at the gate. The Whiskey Tasting is $75 sold separately with limited seating. Credit cards are not accepted at the gate or the beverage tents – all ticket, beverage, and festival merchandise sales are cash only. ATMs are available at the gate. Vendors may accept credit cards. Blankets or chairs are welcome. No pets are permitted on the Festival grounds. Outside alcoholic beverages, coolers, and firearms are also prohibited.

 

The St. Augustine Celtic Music & Heritage Festival is held in Historic Downtown St. Augustine. There is a free Festival Shuttle on Saturday only, from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. Shuttles run every 20 minutes. The shuttle picks up at a satellite parking lot at 198 West King Street and drops off at the Visitors Information Center, at 10 South Castillo Drive, across the street from Francis Field. Guests can also use the free STAR Circulator Bus, which has drop-offs throughout downtown. There is also parking at the Historic Downtown Parking Garage and limited paid street parking.
